Over the last decade the Physiotherapy courses at Queen Margaret University have
grown and developed and we would like to think that they are among the foremost
courses within the United Kingdom and, indeed Europe. We are currently
running a very successful and popular
undergraduate programme, and
competition for available places on this course is extremely
high. (e.g. 570 applications for the 49
places)
We also run a very successful
Masters in Physiotherapy
programme designed for qualified practitioners and a
Masters in Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) two -year
programme.
In 1998 the course was awarded an ‘excellent’ in the quality
assessment exercise conducted by the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council where all
aspects of teaching and learning were graded by independent assessors. This gave a strong
indication of both the quality of the teaching and learning experience in
Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University, and the quality of our graduates.
